PepsiCo India under its ongoing efforts to build a ‘Partnership of Progress’ in India, bringing consumers and communities together is launching a transformative movement, RevolutioNari – a Revolution for the Nari (Woman of India). Conceptualized and spearheaded by PepsiCo India on the model of successful partnerships that have the ability to drive societal change, the initiative is aimed at empowering 1 million women of the country, by building Awareness to choose the right career, Upskilling to enhance employability & Unlocking job prospects for women across India with a consortium of organizations.

The aim is to generate a nationwide impact through a three-year strategic roadmap, that fosters gender equality in unconventional roles like sales, manufacturing, and agriculture in the FMCG sector.

Our Aim

RevolutioNari is aligned with the pep+ (PepsiCo Positive) philosophy, directly tying two key pillars – Positive Agriculture and Positive Value Chain, which will guide the next steps and contribute towards building a positive impact on our planet and people. ​It is built on the fundamentals of a collaborative approach that helps create a large-scale impact on the socio-economic fabric of the country.

The Government of India, corporates and society at large have been taking meaningful steps over the past few decades to move the needle on women empowerment. With the launch of RevolutioNari, PepsiCo India is taking a step ahead in its decade-long journey of women empowerment, further enhancing its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy, to #Dare for Better.

In an endeavor to build a gender balanced organization by 2026, PepsiCo India is focusing on engaging with senior secondary school students, undergraduate students from a variety of backgrounds, women in STEM and agriculture, and women willing to restart their careers across the country.

The initiative will introduce various programs including awareness raising, technical skill-building, soft skill-building, internships and tailored job opportunities in the manufacturing, agriculture and sales sectors, with a clear intent of contributing towards nation-building via women’s empowerment.

Collaboration is at the heart of the RevolutioNari initiative; hence, PepsiCo India intends to make progress through partnerships with prominent corporates and partner organizations, thereby utilizing their combined knowledge and resources.
