Salman Khan appointed as the brand ambassador for Mountain Dew

Bollywood superstar to drive forward the brand’s philosophy of ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’

New Delhi, December 30, 2010:PepsiCo India, the country’s leading food and beverage company, today said that it has appointed Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as the brand ambassador for its popular drink Mountain Dew. This is the first time that a brand ambassador has been appointed for Mountain Dew, which is the fastest growing brand within the Carbonated Soft Drinks category in India for last three years and is on very strong momentum.

Speaking about the association, Deepika Warrier, Marketing Director, PepsiCo Beverages said, “Mountain Dew is strongly anchored in the relevant consumer insight of ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’.
