Chennai Police and Quaker Oats come together and launch a "Mission to make Chennai Police Heart Healthy"

A first of its kind initiative by Chennai Police to lead a heart healthy lifestyle.

Chennai, September 24,2010: Chennai police, a highly professional and dedicated police force in India in partnership with Quaker Oats, world leader and India’s No 1 oats brand launched an awareness and intervention program – "Mission to Make Chennai Police Heart Healthy".

The Mission will include an on-line heart health check-up on www.goodmorningheart.com for all police personnel at various police stations and personalised diet counselling by nutritionists.

It has been scientifically established that3g of Soluble fibre daily from Oats in a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart diseases. Quaker Oats has Beta Glucan soluble fibre that helps reduce cholesterol, helps manage body weight and provides energy to keep you going.

"Chennai Police is one of the most committed metro police forces in the country. We have joined the mission to be heart healthy and therefore lead by example.
