Pepsi's 'First Ball ka Captain' winners get an opportunity of a lifetime to be trained by bowling sensation Ishant Sharma

16 winners get set to bowl the ceremonial ball to cricketing stalwarts at the ICC World Twenty 20, England ‘09

Pepsi, the drink that stands for its 'dare for more' spirit, irreverence, youthfulness and a 'Can Do' attitude brings together 16 lucky winners of Pepsi's First Ball ka Captain' promotion for an exciting training session with bowling sensation-Ishant Sharma. In a lively and interactive training session held at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, Delhi, the winners got a coveted opportunity to learn bowling skills and tips from Ishant to face the might of incredible cricketing legends like Jonty Rhodes, Dilip Vengsarkar, Nasser Hussain, Alec Stewart, Graham Gooch, Darren Gough & Phil Tufnell at the ICC World Twenty 20

According to Ishant Sharma, Pepsi brand ambassador and ace bowler, "I am extremely excited to be a part of this training session. It has been a pleasure to interact with fellow cricket enthusiasts and share some bowling experiences of mine. About ‘First Ball ka Captain’ promotion

Pepsi 'First Ball ka Captain' aims to give 16 cricket fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to bowl the first ball against a legendary Cricketer before every ICC World Twenty 20 match in England.

To participate in 'First Ball ka Captain', consumers needed to either collect 8 specially printed "BLUE" coloured crowns of Pepsi glass bottles or 4 special ICC World Twenty 20 500ml / 600ml PET pack labels. They exchanged these for a scratch card, at their nearest redemption centre. Location of the nearest redemption centre or information on the promo could be received by simply dialing any of the Call Centre numbers 18002095888 & 02261555888. Through the scratch card, every consumer was guaranteed to win a 'My Can', and could also win Cool Pepsi branded merchandise such as sippers and USBs. 40 Lucky Consumers got an all-expense paid trip to England to watch one of the Super 8 matches, while 16 consumers get the once-in-a-lifetime chance of being the 'FIRST BALL ka CAPTAIN'.
