Vijayawada, May 16 2007: 7UP, the natural Lemon & Lime Flavour brand of PepsiCo India, has launched an exciting under-the-crown (UTC) promotion for 7UP fans. The UTC promotion offers 7Up consumers a chance to win cool prizes on the purchase of a 7UP bottle. The prizes offered are - 20 bikes, 20 LCD's, 50 music systems, 150 mobile phones, thousands of 7UP T shirts, caps etc. and an assured prize of a cool ring tone for 7UP.
Commenting on 7UP's new initiative, Mr. Pratik Pota, Executive Vice President - Marketing, Flavours PepsiCo India said, "It has always been our endeavour to provide innovative and fun filled experiences that are cool and exciting for today's youth. The 7UP promotion gives everybody a chance to win and we are positive that the UTC promotion will help build the brand's connect with the youth."
To participate in the promotion, consumers have to buy a 200 ml bottle of 7UP and look under the crown for exciting prizes. All they need to do is dial the helpline no and get their favourite 7UP merchandise. The initiative is running across Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Karnataka.
The promotion is backed by a comprehensive 360 degree activation plan comprising of television, outdoor, Press and Radio. On air will be a 25 second promotion film created by ad agency – JWT that has a college going youth telling everyone about what he will do with the bike when he wins it in the 7UP promotion.
