Bollywood sensation Katrina Kaif becomes the first brand ambassador for Slice!

New Delhi, March 19 2008: PepsiCo’s popular mango juice drink brand – Slice is back with a bang! Slice has signed on Bollywood’s leading actress – Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador in India. With this, Katrina becomes not only the first brand ambassador for Slice but also the first Indian film actress to endorse a brand in the juice category. She will also be the face for Slice Mangola, the favourite mango drink of Mumbai. The sensational beauty is going to be closely involved with Slice and will be seen in all its communication, this year.

A drink that has been popular amongst mango lovers, Slice is known for its delicious mango taste and gives the ultimate mango experience to a variety of beverage seekers. Reiterating the brand’s cool quotient, youthfulness and spirit is the beautiful, elegant, charming– Katrina, who is a natural choice for Slice. A mango fan herself, she loves to treat herself to a Slice ever now and then!

The mango drink has been actively communicating to the youth through its catchy ad campaigns that have brought forward the joy associated with having Slice through a fun, flirtatious interaction between a boy and girl. Last year, Slice, for the first time, associated itself with Bollywood and tied up with Yashraj films, ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’. Slice has also been visible across festivals and other occasions that have built on its qualities of fun and excitement.
