New Delhi, March 10, 2014: Lay’s, the leading potato chip brand from PepsiCo India and amongst one of the leading snack brands in the country, is all set to add more fun and magic to the consumers’ snack-time with two new delicious flavors - Thai Sweet Chili and Swiss Grilled Cheese.The new flavours will be available in a totally new packaging which will offer more chips to ensure the fun times will last longer.
With the new exciting flavours, the brand is adding a “longer” lasting delight to the consumers’ snack basket with the proposition of “More chips More fun”. Made with loads of thin and light chips, the melt in your mouth “long-lasting” taste, sweet chilli and grilled cheese, are sure to bring more excitement to youth moments of fun and friendship.
The campaign features Asin along with a group of friends who are seen inventing their own definition of fun. The first TVC begins with Asin flagging off a quirky game of bowling, wherein instead of bowling balls, youngsters themselves roll in the form of a ball towards an array of Mirinda bottles. The second film showcases Ping-pong like you have never seen before where instead of racquets, contestants use a prop attached to their heads. Both the TVCs end with Asin asking consumers to share their own quirky ideas and the best ideas will be made into TVCs.

The two new flavours, Lay’s Thai Sweet Chili and Swiss Grilled Cheese, will be available nationally in small, mid and large packs at Rs.5, Rs. 10 & Rs. 20 respectively.
