the first woman to perform an accelerated free fall jump over Antarctica from 10,000 feet.
The campaign captures the thought and ideology of every Indian today, who believes in taking risks to reach his or her goals. Taking examples from real life, Mountain Dew brings to life the exhilarating story of Padma Shri Shital Mahajan- skydiver and extreme sportsperson who is the youngest woman to jump over both the North and South Poles without trials. Holder of eight world records till date, Shital, whose achievements have inspired many Indian civilians to take up the adventure sport across ages, truly embodies Mountain Dew’s spirit “Naam Bantey Hai Risk Se”.

As the name suggests, ‘Naam Bante Hai Risk Se’ recognizes risk-takers who have not settled for status-quo. Mountain Dew invites people who are or know of such individuals and unrecognized, real heroes who have risen above fear, broken out of the ordinary and emerged victorious. The call for entries has been activated through digital platforms like Facebook, Twitter and the Mountain Dew website along with print ads, radio and mobile. In addition to this, a unique IVR mechanism has been designed facilitate consumers to submit entries and also listen to Padma Shri Shital Mahajan’s story.
